Why I started Hosting Live Events for Women in Toronto

No, that's not my age.
That's not the last 2 digits of my SIN number, either.
That's not even the amount of times I snoozed my alarm this morning (it was 2).
From July-December 2025, I hosted 43 live events in Toronto.
Rewind to January 2025- If someone were to ask me, "Alicia, how many in-person events do you plan on hosting in Toronto this year?" my response would've been, "none, I'm too focused on my online growth right now."
But then in July of 2025, something flipped.
I kept getting SIGN after SIGN to host live events. It was getting to the point where the Angel numbers and synchronizations were SO consistent, that it felt bizarre NOT to see 11:11 on my oven at 3:00 o'clock in the afternoon.
So, after having my friends practically force me to commit to a date (shout-out to Kateryna Evergreen and Cody Dacquay), I decided to post my first in-person Live event on Luma. This was going to be... the Women's Confidence Reset.
Truth be told, I had to confront a TON of fears to get this event going. I had to face the, "but what if people think I'm annoying if I reach out to them?" and the "what is nobody shows up?" fears.
But, I have always known that Volume is directly correlated with Success. So I did exactly that. I made a list of all the women I knew in Toronto, and reached out to 250+ women to invite them to my Confidence Reset.
The results? 16/20 registrations - Let's GO!!!
This first event process taught me that:
A) you will ALWAYS try to talk yourself out of something that is new and uncertain.
B) don't let A happen^
Thank you to the 16 women that showed up to the Confidence Reset (one of them being my mom), and the 1000+ women that showed up to the 42 events after that. I am honoured to guide you with your mindset, self-love, and personal empowerment journey in the city.
This is to the happiest, most successful, & abundance year yet, and I can't WAIT to share what's to come.
